Recipe Ingredients:
- POtatoes, TOmatoes, HAMburger
(actually the tomato is a ziploc bag of Rague or whatever you like)
- onion, salt, pepper, basil flakes
Cooking instructions:
Boil potatoes, two to three per person, I like the red with skin left on, cut into smaller chunks. In separate pan fry 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef with large onion, salt and pepper to taste. Drain if necessary. In the big pot, after draining potatoes add tomato sauce (thinned as desired), basil flakes, hamburger and onions. Heat till simmering.
Variations/Hints:
I like sweet and hot so will add brown sugar and ground red pepper. Have also tried green pepper.
