Yep, Chuck from Spring Creek Outfitters is well versed in that area... The web site is (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links); They have a toll free number on the web site and ask for Chuck.

People I know that have traveled that area have the shop known as "Spring Creek Outfitters" a canoe/gear store in Mountain Iron MN.

Their website is (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) and I'm sure one of the guys who owns the shop will be at the Madison Wi - Canoecopia show in a few weeks.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if Spring Creek in the western BWCA is large enough for feasible paddling.  I like those little rivers in that part of the park, but Spring Creek looks like it might be a bit small.  I am not put off by wading and lining, but I don't want to walk the whole way.  It seems like you would have the place to yourself as it's off the main travel routes. If anyone has any info or experience on this creek, I would love to hear.  Thanks!
