This is a followup to an earlier thread, regarding PolyMet's proposed   (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

In case anyone is curious, the comments received from the public, and from other agencies such as the EPA, regarding the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) have been published online and are available to view. A direct link to the Army Corps of Engineers website is given below.

I don't mean to breathe life into an old thread, but some people might be curious to read the comments from other citizens, public agencies, and tribal organizations. The comments are being used to construct a final version of the EIS, which will be published in the near future (no timetable has been given). The final EIS is then subject to approval or rejection by the MN DNR and the USACE, and approval by both agencies would be the first *real* step towards the mine becoming a physical reality.
