Hey Wally... It went good. We packed all our gear in the little 15 footer and went for a paddle. Lot's of free board left and the canoe still moved along pretty good. After a week of paddling and most of our food gone, we should sail right along. Looks like a bit of rain forecast for that week, if you believe forecasts.

75 mi paddle in 6 days....pending no windboud conditions....elsewise it will be mucho shorter. If we start with wind...then I guess I'll just stay in the Tranquil channel area. Really hope I see Ash bay, Ptarmigan bay and Shoal lake.

I've got to be in Crookston, MN Sat June 5th, to watch my girl compete for a chance at MN state track....so no possibility of hold-over days.

2 of my biggest worries also, wind and open water. Just wait out the wind on shore and let it push all those big walleyes right to you. You have a great one too!
