Greetings, Snowdog. So, having just got back to town recently, and not getting the paper, there must be a story behind that WHOPPER of a fish. ( And that must be a fish tale ). It sure looks like a beauty in the picture. Please, please tell us the story. When, where, how, how long was the battle. ( With a fish that size, you even have permission to embellish the story a little bit. ) I look forward to hearing about it. GeneM

No internet link. The pic is only available to local Luddites like me who still insist on killing trees because reading the news on a computer just isn't the same.
If only the sun had been shining that day I might have gotten top billing and then the pic would have been deemed internet-worthy by the Strib. Alas, clouds obscured my chance at greater immortality.

There is a pic of Snowdog and his fish of a lifetime in today's Mpls Star-Tribune on back page of sports section. Yours truly photographed this grisly duo after Snowdog was convinced to try a swimbait while old salt was filling the canoe with nice waldos using the same bait. Perhaps there is an internet link that can be posted...
