I think we need one line/post with colour comentary by old_salt.
Not nice to pester someone for a great story? My old man used to goad us and withold stories unless we stroked his ego.
Snow Dog, tell us a story! Hold the pictures up for all to see.

Looks like my good intentions may have backfired. I thought I might open the door for SD to talk about the fish ("All right, if I gotta". ....) but it occurs to me he might not want to because he might not want to reveal the lake.
I know I wouldn't want to reveal the lake where I caught a really big fish but only because the next time I go there everyone and their brother might be about and there might not even be a campsite. Hmmmm, that thought never occurred to me because I'm really not that interested where he caught it. I think there are fish like that in almost every lake in the Q (especially where there are ciscos about). I thought he might enjoy telling the "blow by blow" descriptions of the fight (the fish ran underneath the boat 6 times and jumped over twice and Old Salt caught a limit of walleyes trolling while the fish pulled us around etc. etc.).
Now all this is conjecture but I thought I would get out in front before this was misunderstood.
So far though, the vote is unanimous .

The fish of a life time. Now that's gotta be some fish. Is this some kind of reverse fish story - the bigger the fish actually was the less we hear about it?

I don't endorse pestering people for information. While I'm interested and would enjoy the read, it's none of my business unless SnowDog wants to share.
Indeed I agree on things of a more personal note. It's a fish fight right? This is purely lighthearted, I thought that was obvious.

It seems we have someone who is holding out on us. Before more drastic measures are taken I thought some peer pressure might do the trick. After all, it's not every day you get the fish of a lifetime, eh?
So my vote in the poll is he spills the beans. The complete story. What say you?
