Fished it on a pass thru a couple times, if the wind permitted, but only caught some smaller Northerns. Kasakokwog is a better lake to fish, IMO. LT, NP, SM and W for sure.

Furtman's book says "Trout, Northern Pike, Walleye".
It's been quite a few years since we passed through there. We didn't fish it at all but I seem to recall seeing a fair amount of shallows around the lake and a lot of downed timber. I'm a little surprised that the book says it holds trout. Didn't look deep enough to me.
Furtman's book doesn't say anything about smallmouth but I gotta imagine they're in there by now, too.

We are looking to go through McAlPine to Kasakokwog and I would like to kjnow if anyone has fished McAlpine and if so what species and size did you find?
