Pretty slushy up there.  I'd check ice conditions before you leave.

I am planning a last minute winter fishing / camping trip before the MN boys state hockey tourney March 5, 6 and 7th with my teenaged son. I have fished Sag a couple of times in the summer with little success, so I'm looking for all the pointers I can get. Lures, color, bait, location... you get the point. We will be pulling our gear with a snowmobile so getting around should be easy enough. My plan is to camp on Horseshoe Island but other areas are not out of the question.

Does anyone have tips for a novice anglers like us?

Any help will make this trip more enjoyable?
