There is also now Finding Farley on the NFB - its about the folks that did the book Being Caribou in which they paddle (try) from Canmore, AB out to Farley Mowat's home in eastern Canada with a toddler. Right up my alley! Also try the Knowledge Network, they have a show called Great Canadian Rivers. Just my two cents!

Thanks Preacher! That was also a great film! What an amazing craftsman he was. After watching Bill Mason and others like Kevin Callan and Troy Gaylord from "Maddy the Goose.com", I learned that despite the fact that you guys pronounce a few words different, I really like you folks. But I think I figured that oot the day as a younger adult I went to a Bare Naked Ladies concert. I was convinced then that I love Canandians!  

Also a good one on the NFB list is Cesar's Canoe.

I have always wanted to watch these films but didn't want to buy them but rent them from my local library. Problem is they don't have them. This is great, you can watch them for free or download for a small fee. I watched "Song of the Paddle", what a great film. To watch Becky and Paul Mason run rapids (with there parents) at such a young age will touch your heart. These kids were almost born in a canoe!
