Here's a newer one in summer:
Ogishkemuncie      Holt      09      low            rods      difficult      More like a moose trail than a portage.  The trail is tough to follow and there are numerous spots where you must step over downed trees.  The trail winds through bushes almost too thick to get the canoe through.  The trail thins out about 2/3 of the way into holt as you follow a dried up river bed.  The last section is more of the same with thickets that require 2 people to force the canoe through.      None at all      Holt is a decent size lake with deep water.  The shore line has been burned out and is not particularly scenic.

------------
Trail good. Thickets bad. Enjoy!

Welcome to Quiet Journey, Burl.

old_salt is referring to the Portage Data Base, but I checked there and I don't see much on our PDB that will be helpful to you.  Alas, I cannot be helpful either, as I am not familiar with any of these portages.

Can anyone else help a new Inukshuk with some information?    :question

I am planning to go from the south arm of Knife lake to Ogishkemuncie Lake via Nave Lake, Nabec Lake, and Holt Lake.  What are these portages like?
