Got my license already.  It helps when your paddle partner has to make a business trip to Detroit and has time for a side trip across the border.   Grin

Had that not suddenly become an option, I would've settled for this:

I think this would probably be the fastest way to get an Ontario license without spending a fortune on FedEx or some other priority service.  It's an extra $10 but if you need it fast it's worth it.

Who's Jack Burton?!?!?!

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) - Perhaps John Carpenters greatest film.

Fixed your post.
Was riffing off the quote!
Jack Burton: You know what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like this?
Thunder: Who?
Jack Burton: Jack Burton. *Me*!

Good luck with the licence.

Strike is over, but the backlog remains.

Might be worth the detour.  Google found a 2001 reference to Woody's Service in Lac du Bonnet, MB.

A call to the MNR might provide you with out-of-province providers.

Just go fishing S_D.  If you get stopped, tell them what ol' Jack Burton says at a time like this . . . . . ."Have you paid your dues?  Yeah, I've paid my dues. The checks in the mail."

Snow_dog  --  I think you should plan on driving though Ontario, as least a small part of it, so you can buy your license.  I know I wouldn't trust the mail or some remote processing.  Or....drive up before the trip, and buy the license.
