I didn't know if they were even allowing RABCs anymore. My wife took the kids to Niagara Falls and they were pretty strict at the Canada customs. They checked for the note from me (which I thought to send with) and searched her van.
I will be fishing up there, thanks for the reminder for the licences.
...and don't worry - I'll leave them all in the lake (CPR). They all will be a little smarter and have sore jaws, but they'll still be there.

returning through US customs is now more strict as well...you'll need US Passport or Passcard...don't know about the kiddies

I agree the border guys are getting more & more diligent regarding only 1 parent with their kids. Last summer I left the note (notarized) on our counter at home. Only a phone call to my wife & some pleading with the Canadien border folks let us through.
