Kingfishers comment about keeping your walleye lures clsoe to bottom and peoples reluctance to do so for fear of snags made me look back, as I thought I had posted about an item that might help with that?

I did, But for whatever reason I put it in the Gear section Roll Eyes

Neversnag Tackle

I bought some years ago and lost track of where. Have been looking for them ever since.

When you replace your 3 barbed treble hooks with this 2 barbed weedless one, you end up with lure that is as about as weedless as you can get.

The 2 barb treble sits so that the curve of the hook is up not down like a 3rd barb on standard 3 treble hook does. That allows it to go over obstructions that would normally foul a regular treble, even a typical weedless one.

Another big benefit is that the stainless spring weed guards act when engaged to keep the lure tangle free in your tackle box/bag.

Now that I found the source again, I plan on swapping out most of my lures, especially the deep diving ones.
