Stopped in Ardemore, OK and had dinner at a place called
2 Frogs.  I needed a break and was waiting out the tornado in Norman, OK.  I drove 1040 miles yesterday.  Then got home this am at 10:30.  Wanted to paddle it this afternoon....but we are in SEVERE weather here.
We need RAIN bad, just not twisters!

That's a fun boat on small tight stuff.

Ditto the tribute to DD, and others here. Great group.

The story goes like this,  I bought a canoe in Dallas on Craigslist, and asked dentondoc, if he would mind going to Dallas and getting it for me, and I would drive down and get it at his house.  So today I left Nebraska at 5 am and drove to Denton, TX and there was my "New to Me" canoe.
It saved me a lot of hassle going into Dallas, and I got to meet Wayne's wife!  Thanks Wayne, aka dentondoc and I love the canoe folks, as they always are they're for each other and willing to help out.  I am now in Hutchinson, KS on way home.  Canoe Fanatics are great people.  FYI it is a Royalex Bell Wildfire in Mint condition Smiley
