Don't be terribly surprised if I do drop in.  You know, birds of a feather....

Have a great getaway!

Hey Jimbo,

If you get that sail working and the wind blows you way northeast after the 20th, head for the camp also flying a Pink Flamingo.

Enjoy!

Mule_Lars -

Here's the deal: you handle the fish on THAT side of the park & I'll take care of those on mine!

Bon voyage!

Have a great trip, Jimbo! I'm going in the day after you go in and coming out the day before, but I'll unfortunately be on the BW side (Knife, Kekakabic, etc.). I suppose I could make a day trip, but that would be a long pull, even for me  Grin

But here's to good weather, no bugs and plenty of piscatorial success  Thumbs Upup

Anyone paddling in the vicinity of the Argo/Darky area of the park between 7/13 & 7/24 should feel free to drop by & say "hello."  During this relatively tame trip, I am indoctrinating a teenaged neighbor in the (my) ways of canoe-camping.  My guess is he will appreciate seeing some other face than mine after a day or so.

Please feel free to drop by.

My camp is typically easily identified by the conspicuous presence of pink flamingo paraphenalia hanging or floating somewhere nearby.  This year it will be a bright new flag.  Believe me, if you're on the same lake, you're not likely to miss it.  The old flag - now in tatters due to wind damage - had to be retired.  Also, my entire flock/stock of pink plastic ground feeders has roosted elsewhere.

Finally, I am still giving some thought to toting along my large pink WindPaddle Sail (remarkably, this collector's item is STILL available on the QJ "Gear Exchange" forum: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) ).  The downside of "windsailing" this year, however, is rather substantial given my operator skills.  You see, the father of the kid I'm taking into the park is an attorney....

Anyway, if you see a pink vision in the park in the next couple weeks, check it out (especially if you see it laying flat out in the middle of the lake; lift it up & check under it, please).  It might be somebody you know from QJ.
