When we did our "Celebration" trip in 2010 (the first trip with Spartan1's "new" kidney) we were out the first week of September and we had lots of blueberries in the Sawbill area of the BW. We were amazed! Thought it would be far too late! Blueberry pancakes were wonderful!
Don't expect it on our September trip this year, though.

db, I would say of my 13 mid Aug trips we hit the mother lode 3 or 4 times and so-so most other trips. I did hear the raspberries are plentiful right now. Cool stones on Sheridan if any one is interested.

Wishful thinking. SD & I are heading to Carp L on Saturday-Wednesday to indoctrinate his 3 daughters and others on canoe camping, fishing, ?berry picking?, swimming, etc. If you see 3 canoes w/ 3 guys escorting 5 teenage girls, paddle over and say 'hi'.
All the reports I have seen have said there are none to be found this year. Nobody seems to know exactly why. I will be scouring Brent and surrounding areas for next 2 weeks. Hopefully the meteor showers and northern lights will make up for it. I will find blueberries!

Heading into the Q this weekend and I'm hoping there might still be a few blueberries out there for us. I know that's pretty unlikely, but still worth asking the question.
Anyone know if there are any blueberries still worth picking up there?
