Yep! Meet up with the portage cutters while there. They had just built that bridge. At the time, they didn't know if they were going to keep the bridge up or not.

Doh! Good walleye fishing there in the pinch point around sunset. Attached pic has same trees on the right & the rocky point is approx mid-pic between the canoes (hard to see in that light).
"Naked Bass" -- this is the fish-shaped island, eh? I.e., 'Goldfish' shaped -- like the snack food.

PJ and I were thinking the same spot. Naked Bass is the gravelly beach on the next island up.
If that's not right I'd guess the Pines due to the point on the left but you can't stand out that far. Can you? Sure looks like a Pickerel horizon though IMO.
I'm not a sandy beach camp type guy and all those footprints could be confusing me.
