I called Benvenutos to give them the final numbers, and there apparently was a mix-up with the room. Bottom line is a different group will be in the Wine Cellar. They can accommodate us in a semi-private area in the dining room, but it won't be as secluded as originally reported.
Since it's Thursday I told her we really didn't have a choice so I said that was fine. (Not sure the wife wants to have 20+ people over to the house for dinner Saturday night )
So let's still plan on meeting at 5-ish. I'll hopefully figure out some way to identify who/where we are.
It's reserved under Quiet Journey, so ask for that group when you come in.
Sorry for the last-minute change. ml

I am hoping to stop by later in the evening, but will miss the dinner. Would love to have a beer with you all and "chew the fat". Oh, and I might be interested in one of those Sunday wristbands if anyone wants to offload...

For anyone who may not know in advance, even if it's last minute, please feel free to come. Think of our dinners as a modern day voyageurs rendezvous. No program, just getting acquainted and swapping tales. Lots of fun! You won't find a better place to be in Madtown. BTW, if any have Sunday wristbands you're not planning to use, please bring them to dinner.
If you want some help planning your next trip, bring your maps. Someone in the room has probably been there.

Jimbo & Mrs. Jimbo will be pleased to join such an august assemblage of canoe-camping luminaries!
Jimbo
Not sure what you just said, but if you come in August, you'll miss it. This is more like a pink flamingo 'march' event. Your presence will no doubt create a flood of signups by those pink flamingo fence sitters who were waiting for their fearless leader to commit. All hail...
