the fleet farms in waupaca/stevens point had the taildancers on clearance. point had theirs in some stand up clear bins near the camouflage clothes. waupaca had theirs in little bins scattered in each isle and a couple huge bins near the turkey blinds.
cabelas in green bay had the hot n tots on clearance in the way back righthand corner of the store, near the ice fishing stuff in little racks in the isles

Keeping telling myself that I am going to take less tackle on trips but somehow can't stop buying new stuff.
confessions of a true crankaholic... i feel your pain
i was at gander/fleet/cabelas/scheels this past week getting some stuff for my archery addiction, and saw a bunch of rapala taildancers and storm hot n tots on clearance... needless to say, i now have an extra tray full of cranks that are really only useful in canada and one or two local lakes as they run too deep. had to have them for a "what if" scenario!
luckily, if we end up taking someone new on our trip up there, i can outfit them with a bunch of proven lures and even some duplicates of my most productive ones!

Dicks sporting goods has flicker shads for 3.99 and 50% of a second one. $6 for two. Online shipping is free when ordering $25 or more. Think they have the same pricing going on in the stores. Bought several today along with some soft baits and new line. Keeping telling myself that I am going to take less tackle on trips but somehow can't stop buying new stuff.

I don't think the farm n fleet in oswego il has good lure prices. remember looking at a few rapalas and other stuff that i knew prices on and thinking they were overpriced. on the other hand the local menards carries flicker shads and had an end of year clearance sale. 2.00/ea so i cleared the rack. sorry MP.

I didn't realize Mills Fleet Farm carried so many lures, some at real decent prices.
I checked, we don't have them in MI. Kinda of surprised they haven't opened one in this part of the woods.
There's always the on-line store, but I like to browse and shop if I can.
the fleet farm website will make you real angry real fast. its not user friendly, especially for fishing lures, as each color is its own link. i find it very frustrating. and the online prices are higher than in store.

I'm a fan of the XRap also. I prefer this bait when casting and so its working the shorelines and taking more bass than walleyes. The shadraps get used more for trolling and stay down on the bottom so the ratio of walleyes caught go up.
