Thanks Bob!  I forgot about this guy.  It's been a couple of years since I watched his videos.  You know, he really puts in the effort to make good videos. 

He goes pretty bare bones too.  It doesn't look like he takes a pfd.  I remember one of his videos where he had 2 or 3 dogs with but made them run along the shore while he paddled.    His dog sure has a good time too.  I liked seeing the old Indian camp.  Very cool.

The bug net is good but I wouldn't wear it so close to my face.  A hat with a brim would be perfect.

He has some bushcraft skills.
I liked he had a mesh head net. I have one just like it.
I also have some bug bite proof thin gloves I can wear.

I don't consider getting eaten alive by bugs a sign of how tough you are. More like how unprepared for what you should know is waiting in the deep woods. 

I can't believe he just ate one little BT for lunch, I could eat a pan of them every meal.
