Like their shotgun, it's no good unless you have it with you when you need it.

IF there had just been one guy and that bear had got him from behind, put him on the ground, it would be very bad. I didn't see either with a straight blade knife which worst-case scenario is better than your bare hands.

I care both Bear Spray/Knife and whatever hassle it is to do so, seeing this video reaffirms my belief that its better to have them and NOT need them than the OTHER way around! Tongue
