I buy a lot of military surplus or new military gear. What a lot of people don't know is for a item to be used by the military it has to pass much higher standards than civilian items do production/quality wise. Get on their mailing list and when a sale hits you can get something before they run out.

Anyone? My 10 year old Chotas are finally delaminating and won't make another trip (reliably). So I'm looking at new hiking/portage boots...from the practical to the sublime...Thoughts?
