	For obvious reasons standard HTML code cannot be used in posts. Instead QuietJourney allows the use of Bulletin Board Code in posts. Similar to HTML, but safe and standardized for bulletin board use. Code Type This... [hr] [url=http://site.com]LINKED-TEXT[/url] [img]http://site.com/image.gif[/img] [b]Bold[/b] [i]Italic[/i] [u]Underlined[/u] [s]strikethrough[/s] [color=Red]Red text[/color] [move]stuff[/move] [quote]Quoted text [/quote] And get this... (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) Bold Italic Underlined strikethrough Red text stuff Quote: Quoted text Emoticons Emoticons are a fun way to express your emotion in your posting. They can help you indicate whether you are joking, happy, sad, or a variety of other things. Each emoticon uses standard chat-style key-strokes, so it requires no thinking on your part. 	It needs to exist somewhere on the web to be available. If you can't find another place to put it e-mail it to me. I'll put it in a folder and show you how to link to it.

	i still have trouble inserting a web link....so i type exactly as it says at the top of this thread.... [url=http.//site.com] .... but then what should i do? when I preview it, I see the full web page address...can i insert a word like "Here" in its place? I am lost. I must be a moron.... The challenged Beaver
