Stumpy...

I could always fill the void with some more Voyageur Rap, if you'd like.  Just give me the word!  The final QJ tally had VR running about "even" in popularity with Bushwhacker Balladeering (ie. most thought they both "sucked").

Hey, in what size would you prefer your Fabulous Door Prize?  Tall or Short???  I'm afraid I'm already completely out of Mediums.  I tried but they were virtually impossible to come by.

Also, I will require your assistance with Jamboree ceremonies commemorating the Old Salt Wildlife Preserve... unless, of course, I opt to go with the Shrine idea.  You see, I still have to get an official "weighing" of that old toilet seat up in my attic.  Unfortunately, I'm thinking the nasty old thing is likely to weigh in MUCH heavier than props for my Wildlife Preserve idea.

The way I see it, every ounce is going to count on that Bushwhack.  Benjimo & I are travelling bare-bones....

Jimbrewie,

Just Give Stumps a commemorative version of the birds in my yard.  Light weight plastic to represent our friend QP.  Blue with a large bottom and feathers to represent Woods Walker.  Skinny legs to represent me.

Just a thought, only a thought….

I’d rather be sky diving.

Hold that thought.

Stumpy... You got it, Chief!  I think I'll be opting for one of those, too.

WW & K... FYI, the Bushwhacker Jamboree "Wrastlin' Championship" will be taking place immediately AFTER the Kilted Games firewalking competition/"weenie roast" over on the east shore of the pond just north of Jamboree.  We can pair you two off in the First Round, if you'd like, winner to move on.  BTW, our famed weenie roast is a time-tested, sure-fire method of getting our male combatants into the right mood for true combat.  It would seem that you guys may not require the usual amount of time hovering over the coals, though.

SO.... COME ONE, COME ALL!!  JUST 17 DAYS UNTIL ROUND ONE OF THE BUSHWHACKER JAMBOREE WRASTLIN' COMPETITION!  THERE, WE WILL SEE EITHER: BLUE TAIL FEATHERS BEING PLUCKED - OR - CHICKEN LEGS BEING SPLAYED IN WISHBONE FASHION!!  SO... PLACE YOUR BETS NOW & PLAN TO CATCH THE WILD ACTION LATER ON VIDEO CLIPS TO BE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU ONLY ON QJ!!  *

Ah ha !!
I knew it was to good to last...So the commercialization of the BWR 2005 has finally come ? !!!

Well, we might as well let in all the corporate sponsors now. Maybe we could get some $$$ if we name the location "US Cellular Lake" or something. Heck we'll just split the proceeds with the Ontario government. In fact they may wish to sell off nameing rights to all their lakes, to take pressure off their over taxed citizens. McDougall Lake could become McDonalds Lake...McIntyre could become Mitsubishi Lake...Conk would be Coca Cola and Poohbah would be Pepsi....the profit and possibilities are endless !
BWR 2005 be damned....let every D. B. Norton in the door....Not even Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck can stop us now !!!!!!!

...and oh,....I'll turn over my Inukshuk money at the Rendezvous and Jimbo or someone can pass it along.  Roll Eyes

Ok, ok, ok!

How about if we donate proceeds from the sale of our video clips to Park conservation efforts?  Maybe to the "Friends of Quetico"?

This featured "grudge match" between The Blue Bomber & Chicken Little is bound to be a popular collectors' item.  Seems to me that some worthwhile cause should benefit from the proceeds.

BTW, right now the betting line on this particular match is running pretty danged lop-sided in favor of The Blue Bomber.  There IS one persistent question that keeps popping up, however.  It may very well impact the ultimate betting line....

Stumpy, you may be the only one able to answer this question:   Just how much of that Chub Pond shoreline is "runnable"???

In other words, is there some sheer rock face OR some other barrier that cannot be climbed somewhere along its perimeter?  Think carefully & try to remember.  It's important.  Several folks have said they might switch their bets over to Chicken Little IF the ENTIRE shoreline can be run.

Anyway...

JUST 16 MORE DAYS AND THE CIRCUS ROLLS INTO THE OLD CHUB POND!!  COME ONE!  COME ALL!  WITNESS THE SPECTACLE!  AND BE SURE TO PLACE YOUR BETS EARLY; THIS QJ BETTING WINDOW CLOSES AS SOON AS STUMPY DISCLOSES THE NATURE OF THE SURROUNDING SHORELINE!!

Jimbo,
I was just fun'in ya
Keep the proceeds going to QJ, via Inukshuking

Runnable shoreline ?....I think you should hold that event on the northerly of the two ponds. There is a spot on the eastern shore of that one thats big enough for a small concert, but the water on that pond/lake is icky.....

Come to WOODSWALKER STOCK just avoid the brown water dude.... Tongue

Jimbo you know the actual event ("grudge match" between The Blue Bomber & Chicken Little ) I figure likely will take place long before the arrival of the qp boys at the BWR 2005.  Want to meet up early Jimbo?  We'll (I'll) hide in the woods and record the event.  Grin

Those skinny legged guys can run really fast you know.    Would that make K the winner?  Would that match be a heavy weight, lightweight or Flamingo wieght class?   Hey K!!!   Hint for ya, shave your legs, I think WW would have a har deer time holding on to ya.   Shocked  Bear repellant might help to,    I've actually seen both of you guys and size does matter in the   Bushwhacker Jamboree "Wrastlin' Championship"
Ok enough of this, time to call my bookie  Roll Eyes

Shaved legs will also decrease air resistance, enabling faster running.
