Just thought I would add my two cents on something to eat that I really like. Gourmet meals and BW trips do not go together for me. I enjoy doing other things than cooking while in the BW. I want it quick and easy - easy to cook and pack.

I highly recommend Bear Creek Soups - in particular Damn Good Chili (totally vegetarian with a little kick to it, add dehydrated hamburger if you'd like), Chicken Noodle, and Potato Cheese are the ones I choose. The Chile and Cheese soups are quite filling and stay with you for a while.

I agree.  I love 'em, but ..... I just wish they'd not be so heavy handed on the sodium.  A year ago I didn't care so much, but now I'm on a low sodium diet.

Once you start reading labels, it is amazing how much sodium is in everything.  It can be a challenge to be compliant with doctors' orders.    Sad
