I can't stay logged in - what to do

Question:
I can log in but whenever I go to reply or post I get kicked back to a 'welcome guest' status.  Can't get a post to take.  Tried to re-register, but of course my user name is already registered.  Acts like the ID has expired or something.

Answer:
If when you login everything looks fine but the next page you click thinks you're a guest, one of your cookies is corrupted and the board can't set, read or delete like it should. What you should try first is deleting the two or three Quietjourney cookies. They are called:
quietjourneyusername
quietjourneypassword

I don't know how to delete individual cookies in Windows. It's probably easier to just delete all your cookies. In the Windows Explorer browser menu I think it's under Tools>Internet Options>General>Delete Cookies (or something similar).

Then just login again and things should work normally - I hope.

If the problem comes back let me know.

When I click "back" button, the screen comes up, 'warning: page has expired', I have to 'refresh', then 'retry' to re-enter QJ. This is a recent development. What am I doing wrong?

Right now the address bar on your browser may say quietjourney.com... or a bunch of numbers. I'm guessing numbers. When the numbers can go away I'm hoping that and many other problems will go away too. It's the best answer I have right now. I do appreciate you using your back button though. Wait a few days and ask again if there are still problems.

Hey, I'm just glad it sort-of works after the surprise move... The host still has not notified me that they did that... Yet here we are tickling electron's tails on the other side of the country. Even my computer seems tired.
