I have yet to get any of the Beymer guide books. I have the Pauly book and like it. Are these two similar in any way? Should I get the Beymer books to help plan for future trips? I enjoy reading about all the different routes you can take so is it good just for dreaming about a trip? So should I get the beymer books or be satisfied with the Pauly books?

They have the same basic information. However, the Beymer books have many more routes. if I were you I definitely would get the Beymer book. I have many books on this area and the Beymer book is the first one I look through when planning a trip.
