The Outermost House, by Henry Beston
It's a classic outdoor book written in 1928 about spending a year on the coast in Cape Cod. It's the descriptive writing that stands out in this book. Not just the words he uses, but their rhythm, not poetry, but similar in a way. QJ members who write might be interested. Scan a few pages next time you're in a bookstore. Kind of a mix between Faulkner, Thoreau, and Frost.
