Anyone know what it is?

I read recently that ~500,000+ of stimulus money was going towards MCC type trail maintenance and poked around some more to find in total they received (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links). I'd like to put that number somewhat in perspective.

I'm also sort of wondering what else they are doing with it and did try to follow the instructions for recovery act contracts out for bid but I kinda got discombobulated after that - hence the question above.

I know this may be touchy but I'm just curious as I've always heard Q is one of the few PPs that operate in the black and well, you know the comparative math.

Well this is what I saw going ninety days back:

Clearing 1500 acres around private homes.  2.5 Square Miles

1 Restroom removal

1 Historic Building Restoration

1 Water Recovery System

Tree Marking, Boundary Painting, and "cruising"

And then the MCC work for the next few years.

For

$13,000,000

Am I missing something?...I think I saw everything for available bidding possibilities. Wink

Well, depending on what those things all entail I suppose they could easily reach 13 but I expected more too. The building restoration alone could gobble a whole lot. What building?

Funny, I know exactly where my $400.00 piece of the pie went.

I'm really curious on the total budget though if anyone knows. A budget history by year would be awesome.

Sorry DB, but what does MCC stand for?

I can probably get a stimulus budget breakdown for the SNF.  I'll check on Monday.

Not sure what building is either....wondering what the billing will be for the "ground clearing work" will be; a long with what is required...
