I just registered to participate in the discussions on this site and I wanted to introduce myself and say "hi". I hope to learn from you and contribute whenever I can. Looking forward to a long and rewarding adventure here!

Welcome aboard!

I hope you'll find the information on this board helpful.  If you have a question, its a good idea to do a little research first ... use the search function to see if you can find former posts that deal with the topic of your question.

If you don't find that information or the information is such that it needs to be updated ... ask away.  You will almost always find someone here who is knowledgeable about most topics.

Just keep in mind that there are a few things that people will tend not to share, e.g., where can I find lunker trout on xxxx lake.  Obviously, if such information gets broad dissemination, the "lunker hole" disappears and some have taken years to develop that knowledge.

Sounds good! Since I just travel and don't fish I won't ask about secret fishing holes. Their secrets are safe from me.

Welcome solotrek. Participation is what makes it rewarding. That's what people tell me at least.  Wink

Welcome!  (Just don't ask about the pros/cons of hiding or hanging food packs.) Smiley
