I'd guess that bass to be 16".  For scale comparison, the bait is an X-rap that is 4".  This fish was the nicer one of two caught.

That photo was taken up in the NW corner of Saganagons.  We had come up the Falls Chain and set up on campsite 1ZB.  Next morning we were up and packed before the sun was above the treeline, waiting for the fog to burn off (it was thick enough to slice).  That little pine studded island lays just to the south of the campsite as we passed by enroute to the Boundary Point portage.
