	It's a crapper. A wooden box over a hole. The box has a lid. If you let the lid slam shut it sounds like thunder. Big image, (You need to *Login* or *Register* to view media files and links) It's no problem, one way or the other. Just nice to know what to expect and to ensure I pack the trowel. Sometimes the "thunder" originates internally, not externally A steady diet of simple carbs/chemical additives to increase there shelf life, will often result in the " internal" Thunder I've never used a privy that wasn't a major fly/biting insect smörgåsbord ( for the bug) I'll take the open woods/ cat hole anytime.
