MY SON AND I PADDLED UP ABOUT 30 MIN AFTER IT HAPPENED. THIS COUPLE WAS FISHING BELOW REBBECA FALLS ON THE LEFT SIDE ON MCAREE. THE CANUE TURNED OVER IN THE CURRENT. HIS WIFE SAID HE CAME UP THREE TIMES AND THEN NEVER CAME UP AGAIN. HIS BROTHER AND ANOTHER MAN WAS WITH HIM.

TALKED TO OUR OUTFITTER MONDAY ABOUT 9:30AM AND THEY HAD DROPPED A JOHN BOAT AND MOTOR IN MCAREE AND WERE DRAGGING FOR HIM BUT STILL HAD NOT FOUND HIM. THE WATER TEMP HAD DROPPED FROM 67 TO 59 LAST WEEK WHILE WE WERE THERE AND THE WIND WAS BAD MAKING THE IT EVEN HARDER.

All caps do seem a bit too 'smarmey'.

Exactly.

This is a trajic story though.  I'm sure someone just lost a dad, husband, grand-pa . . . . While we don't know the circumstances it is a humble reminder to wear a PFD - especially in current.
