Hi, folks.  Not to take anything away from Jennifer, my wife of 22 years, who has taught me almost everything I know and kept me alive and kicking all these years, but the photos are actually mine.  I sent them to DB via our home email, which, of course, is in Jen's name.  Most were taken with a simple point and shoot camera.  Glad you enjoy...it's fun to find the time to take photos and share with others.

Rich.

I suspect that you are correct mastertanger, that Marlin did confirm my post.  I suppose he could have stated how he liked the photo, and not just quote me.  I didn't intent to raise a ruckus, but the Wink seemed to me to imply that it wasn't sincere when I was sincere.

I like rock and lichen photos

I expect he means compositionally. Most here would probably say the rock one was boring. My instant thought was, ooh that's nice.

Funny. Professionally, I've always enjoyed this quote:
"I am a reflection photographing other reflections within a reflection. To photograph reality is to photograph nothing." ~Duane Michals

For PODs though, even the realities of camp or people holding fish work well. I just show whatever people choose to offer.

Smiley The horizon was even horizontal.  Smiley  By the way, I like today's twisted wood stump too!  Nice photo pine_knot.

Sincerely, starwatcher

El Tigre must have a massive migraine after viewing the latest series of POD's  Grin

Very well done, I like ANY outdoor shot that reminds me of the canoe country and the great outdoors.

Ya know...to be honest, I can't recall where I actually took today's boudler pic...geez, a senior moment.  I can't even recall ever seeing the darn thing...maybe Burntside or Jean a couple years ago...anyone know for sure?
