I was gone this weekend,  This campsite and the shots from above are on Emerald Lake on the east end of the lake.  Nice campsite with lots of woods to explore above.  Wishing I were there.  Although, we were at our lake cabin fishing and had a great view as well...Kim

Looking at today's POD; I wonder why they scattered all those bolders on that nice hiking trail?  Actually, it reminds me of those two long, angle-breaking portages from Sunday Lake to Agnes in the Quetico.

This is a pic of the Maria-Jesse portage trail improvements, it was a nice walk way, must have taken some hard work to position those big rocks.
