Couldn't help but think of Jimbo this weekend when our neighbor had a flock of flamingoes stop by his home.  Spartan1 has a new camera for his fishing trip and he took this shot:

Yeah, the pink peckerheads have been "on strike" and have left Quetico & the province (much like the Democrats last March in Wisconsin) since Piragis stopped selling them as campsite markers last year.  They figure on the law of "supply & demand" eventually kicking in; by next Spring their value as campsite markers will be way up!  Please take good care of them while they are out of the province.  I'm sure they'll eventually miss home & head back to roost in the Quetico where they belong.

I spotted one on Donald Lake (WCPP) before they congregated further south.  We left there about the same time, since the party was just about over.
