I am taking my wife to Snowbank entry in early June.  I have been on many trips before but this is her first trip.  She is not very "outdoorsy", so I want to take it easy on her and not scare her away from this great area.

My plan was originally was to base camp on Disappointment lake.  From there take day trips to Cattyman falls, hiking the trails, fishing, etc.   However, after researching, I have gotten an interest in Boot and Abinodji lakes to the north, seeing as there may be a chance for a little more isolation then on Disappointment. My questions are:


How long does it take to paddle from the entry point to Boot / Abinodji? I understand that wind can be a factor on Snowbank, but I always hit the water the first day by 6 am, so hopefully wind / waves are not a factor. If they are, I'll just head to Disappointment, I do not want scare her.  My only concern would be on the way out, so I'd have to have an early start there as well.

Is it more secluded up in these two lakes because many people head for Disappointment initially?

How is the fishing / campsites up on these two lakes, enough to keep my interest up?

Would you head for Disappointment or should I shoot for Boot if the weather permits?
