While it's a ways off, the current weather patterns may have smoke from Alaska's Funny River wildfire may have air quality effects on Midwest.

This fire is twice as big as the final Pagami Creek fire area in the BW in 2011.  The smoke cloud from that fire drifted as far as Poland.
