just in case anyone was going to pm me with any questions, I'll be on the road for the next month - back in May.  Today is my last day at work - ever!

won't be checking in to QJ as often, more like once a week or so assuming I'm at home.  don't even have a computer or fancy phone or ipad or whatever - will just wander down to the library once a week or so.

so I'm not dead - or probably not!

Thanks,

I'm going out to southern CA for about 10 days of rock climbing with a group of friends Joshua Tree NP - then on the 17th, meet up with a different group (canoe club friends)for a raft trip down the Colorado thru Grand Canyon - I'm only going the first "half", then hiking up and out of the canyon, and spending 2 or 3 days playing tourist there, then back thru Utah home to Denver. Couple of other canoe trips in the hopper, before a trip to Quetico in June - think my brother is coming along this year, and will probably make this trip about 20 days long or so - it sure will be nice, not haveing to come back to work at a given date.

It's amazing how not having to keep on a set schedule makes the trip all that much sweeter and mentally relaxing.
