I love the cliffs that line Agnes. And actually, this shot WAS taken on Agnes. And we DID catch fish in the shadow of this cliff.

The location of today's POD - January 17 - looks very familiar. Is it, by chance, on the southern portion of Cirrus lake, right where the channel from the northern portion of the lake comes in?

It is.  Jan 16-18 POD are taken from the campsite at the southeast end of the channel.

Nearly had my camp blow down on me & my young son during a horrible 3 day wind storm there several years back.  That site was fairly exposed.  Since then I've opted for the better-protected sites to the west whenever I'm in that area (the 5 Star at 2Z and also #593, as designated on PaddlePlanner.com).  That is one of my favorite areas in the park, for sure; chock full of memories that these pictures bring back.

did you mean 3Z and #583?  The POD is very familiar to me as well. I was just napping there, before the pic was taken.
