The first book in the series, Fugitives from Northwoods, was conceived from a summer 2012 canoe trip to the B-Dub. Years had passed since my earlier BWCA trips, so that voyage with my son and other Boy Scouts and dads from his troop helped me really use the scenery to put the finishing touches on the book.

Fugitives was picked up by an indie press and hit the market in early 2013. Last year saw the release of book two, Rebellion in Northwoods. Now, I'm thrilled to announce that Return to Northwoods is now available in ebook and paperback!

It's been a long proces, but truly enjoyable. I hope you'll take a moment to check out the trilogy. Though I hesitate to talk about pride, I'm proud to say that I believe Return to Northwoods is my finest published work to date.

I'm supremely thankful for all the kind words I've received over the last few years. My son is now an Eagle Scout, and our canoe trip is but a fond memory that we need to go back and relive someday soon.

It makes me sort of similarly sad to leave my beloved characters behind, and I hope they'll stay with you in some small way.
