  That's the Magic time for me.
When that sun is just about gone and the light/shadows are on the water, it really speaks to me.
If you're a solo traveler you feel so small and insignificant when darkness falls and you're all alone with your thoughts and the sounds of the night.

Years ago during my backpack days, we were in Northern Maine, 4 guys who had NEVER really seen the night sky. First night in the woods we stayed up so late we had to take a camp day becasue we were exhausted from the light show!
