We had 3 different camps on Cirrus but I believe that one of me sitting in my chair on the point was taken on 2Z.

By the time I took that picture most of the storm was over and the wind had let up to where I felt safe digging out the camera.

Magic,

That was the day of the continuous rain squalls.  We kept our eye to the sky looking for promising patches of blue that might signify we could safely proceed to our next camp.  I remember it took me half the day to cajole you out of camp!  Then, when you finally relented, we got blown down to Sue Falls when the camp we wanted at the pinch point (8A) was occupied... and I found myself wishing I had heeded your advice!  Anyway, all's well that ends well but that was sure a nasty ride.

Shocked Shocked Grin Grin

What is that white thing flapping in the breeze on the right side of the picture?

Looks like some kind of netting.

Is it a cuban fiber, Magic?  That's top of the line.

No is not Cuban.  It is heavy nylon. I only take it on base camp trips.

For the price of a small Cuben Fiber tarp, you could hire a NUBILE portage monkey.  Wink Grin Grin

Great pic of you today Jimbo Cool

Did anyone ever tell you that you look like an older Brock Lesnar, WWE/UFC champion?
Add the hat and he could be your younger brother. Wink Grin Grin

ST -

Not a look I'm really going for.  Yet another indication that I need to get back on my diet!
