Todays pic is too much snoring for me. I was in this situation one time and that's when I ordered my hammock.  Grin

TomT -

You must have some sort of Crystal Ball/Time Machine!  I was THERE - IN my hammock tent - at the FAR side of the campsite (heck, I might even have been on a nearby island, depending upon which lake this is) and the sonic blasts were enough to get me swinging in the wind!

Ahh, so that's the reason you got your own permit.  The truth comes out.  That pic is from Suz . . . the infamous pink stew camp.  You were indeed on another island.  Unfortunately for those of us in the adjacent tent, there was no tent pad locations on the far side of that island.  Well, more truth be told, KF and I were not out fishing all day as we lead you all to believe.  Instead, we had found a hidden cove and slept the day away, returning for dinner.  We did the majority of our fishing at night, heading out after Old Salt climbed into his sleeping bag.

When I paddled with 3 other guy's I was the ONLY one that didn't have gas/bathroom issues.

I ate as much or more fried fish as they did BUT they ate all that Freeze Dried stuff that has NO fiber or very little.

Greasy food+Processed food= Flatulence and Stool issues and I don't mean the folding kind either.  Wink Tongue Cry

Mr. Salt, how big of a trout was that?  It looks pretty hefty. What were you fishing with if you remember?

I don’t remember for sure. There were so many about that size. I would guess about 7-8 lbs. Most of the trout I caught were on Storm Lightnin’ Shads. That one may have been the infamous contribution to the Pink Flamingo Stew. Had a nice hint of smoke flavor. Cool Jimbo could not have been any more surprised at the reveal. Shocked Wink
