Cinco de Mayo's pic was from our campsite(611) on Quetico Lake last year, just outside where our tent was set up.

Yesterday's pic was a camp we ran across last year on Quetico Lake while we were out fishing.  We could see this area clearly from where we were camped, but saw no one else in the area all week, so I'm not sure how much use it gets.  From the wood stove it appears this camp is used in the winter, possibly for trapping?  What struck me was how much gear and materials were hauled in.  The structure was made of plywood with tarps stretched over and there was a good amount of lumber under the grey tarp to the right.  There was a chainsaw, hatchet and other tools stashed about, and even a communication radio hanging under a table outside, so it looked like it was used recently by someone and they planned to return.

Today's photo is of the rock pile west of Eden island on Quetico Lake.  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links) We made two quick passes by this structure and only managed to catch a medium size northern.  This area is pretty exposed to the wind and we had a good chop on the water, otherwise I we would have fished it harder, as it seemed like a fishy area.

Today's shot remind me of campsite RC just opposite (east of) the northern end of the big island on the southern half of Sarah Lake.
