Thanks guys! Much appreciated. I believe the lily pad was shot with a DSLR. I also carry a compact camera with a big sensor and a good lens for photos while traveling (carried in a small cushioned case inside a 3liter Sea to Summit sil-nylon dry bag that I attach to the thwart). Both cameras shoot RAW.

Pre-breakup paddle on Little Indian Sioux River. Managed the trip-fecta: long skate ski in the morning, motorcycle ride in the afternoon and a decent paddle late in the day.

This ones really nice.  I remember spending about
20 minutes of my first day paddle shooting lilly pads and flowers in the narrow channel from PP to North Bay.  You got a real nice one here.

We could really creep ST out, Jimmar!  He is just scared to death of those spiders!   Grin   Grin  (I think I have about a dozen great spider shots, but I won't keep posting them.)

It's not the spiders that creep me out, it's having one run over me when I had no idea the Northern Climes had spiders that size.
I wish I had that moment on video, the spider was probably as creeped out as I was.
I don't fear snakes either, I just don't like them popping up out of nowhere.

Sort of like seeing one of those monstrous Q/BW snapping turtles inches away from your bare toes when your wading.  Shocked Grin Grin
