POD for 9/18/2018, db where is that sunken lumberyard? It makes me think of a particular creek that I've been told of, but have yet to go through.

Love that DIY canoe sail.
  I know the park regulations forbid "mechanized" sailboats which I take to mean ones with blocks/tackle to raise the sail etc.

I like the American Flag flying too BUT I wonder what a Ranger that isn't happy with the current trade issues would say IF they stopped you in regard to your sailing rig. 

Q-Dave has some American summer neighbors from MN who come up regularly during the summer. They like to drink beer, keep the sauna running 24/7 and fish, in that order.

One year the came-up over a Canadian holiday when everyone on the lake has their flags flying. They have a nice flagpole and usually fly the Candian flag on top, followed by the US flag, then the MN state flag.

This time the put the US flag on top and someone called the OPP. They let them know in a nice way that wasn't acceptable. 

Where was today's POD taken?
