Where was today's POD taken?
Looks vaguely familiar.

B-chain --> Beg to Bud "portage bypass" -  Jim Clark (Canoe Canada) said not to do this, but we'd done it before in 2001 in a SR Q17 (Kevlar), so what could go wrong in an aluminum?
We'll see...

I remember it now.
I think I paddled my solo canoe thru there with some difficulty.

Remember thinking I wouldn't have made it with a single paddle, just barely with the double.

Yep, that's the same spot...
Going against that current is impressive!  We couldn't have done it with the amount of flow we had (and of course we were going the other way anyway!).

Are those paddlers really facing each other or is this a little canoe humor?

Yes, that’s really what happened.  No humor.  But they’re only facing each other because the front man is twisted around, trying to recover from smacking a rock with the nose & having the canoe do a 180 in the current!

No doubt about it.  After scrolling through the last 2 weeks of Mk631's pics, I think he needs to change his login moniker to "ghetto camper".  lashed sail, barefoot cooking over a fire, tree fishing, etc.... lololol Grin Grin Grin

If you showed all those PODS you referenced plus the ones that made the bow paddler look like they were facing backward, you could title it: What's OFF about these pics?  Wink Grin Grin

Now that cannabis is LEGAL in Canada now, I can hardly wait for the STONER PODS. Cheech and Chong approved.  Shocked Grin Grin
