Today's POD has a Currier and Ives feel about it. Smiley

starwatcher,

Where was today's pic (11/25) taken?  Jean Lake, possibly?  Looks very similar to a pic I took this past September.

Thoroughly enjoying your camera work!

If that's Jean Lake, I'm never going back. . . . looks like southern BW to me.  (Yes, I'm a Q snob)

Campsite D4 on Jean Lake is double-sided, featuring beaches on both the west and east facing shorelines.  The POD from yesterday (11/25) looks surprisingly like a pic I took on the west side.  Moreover, today's POD (11/26) looks remarkably like a shot I took on the east side beach... minus the snow, of course.

Beaches look a lot alike, I know.  I did my best to match up the far skyline against my pics and they looked pretty darned close.  Guess my eyesight is declining along with just about everything else these days.

Like PJ, I'm a bit of a Quetico snob, too.  PJ's vision is clearly better than mine & I'm pretty impressed he got so close on the actual geography.  Maybe some other clues were in play (previous pics, thread content, etc.) but, however he did it, I take my Tilley off to him.

Thanks, again, for the pics, starwatcher!

Later,

No elevation.  PJ smart.
