Thanks, db.  When I checked yesterday it said there was "no POD" and I didn't check back later.

I needed this lovely shot today.  Found out yesterday that I am having more surgery on my hip on Monday.  Sort of overwhelemed with the whole thing.

Thanks, Neal.

I never got into a canoe at all in 2018.  I am hoping against hope that this will fix the problem enough that I can be myself again.

I'm going to guess it's a beaver tail.

Yup. It's a luckily timed beaver whack at 1/20th of a second.

That WAS nicely timed.  The old "ker-plunk!"  This scared my dog pretty good one time.  It comes outta nowhere if you don't see them first.

Today's POD is best viewed ( by me) sitting under my Dry-Fly with a cup of coffee, some home-made coffee liquor and a nice fire.  Wink Grin Grin

Yeah, definitely a whisky/cribbage day.

Yeah, definitely a whisky/cribbage day.

1/9 thru today are all from the same day. (A long travel day for me.) That late afternoon storm may have been the nastiest I've ever experienced on a trip but it blew through in maybe 15 minutes.

If I'd have been camped with a tarp or whatever up, I'd have gotten soaked taking it down. It was a nasty blow even on the lee side of an island. Pictures never do stuff like that justice.
